Mass services for Odilia 'Lillie' Medrano will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 1, in St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Antonio Aureus officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarlawn Memorial Park with Debbie, Diana, Rebecca, Tammy, Marie, and Jo Anna serving as casket bearers.

Odilia was born in Cuero, Texas to the late Eindicaion and Tiolula (Martinez) Ochoa and passed from this life on Wednesday, March 29, 2017, in her Sherman home at the age of 93. Odilia, known by 'Lillie', grew up in Lane City, Texas. She married the love of her life, Thomas Medrano, on September 19, 1942 in Lane City. 'Lillie' worked as a homemaker, taking care of their children.

Odilia enjoyed gardening and sewing. She loved to cook and tend to her flowers. Odilia loved all her family dearly and the many memorable 'get-togethers' shared in her life. She had been a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church since 1988.

Odilia was preceded in death by her parents, husband Thomas in 2002, daughters Ortencia Martinez and Antonia Muniz, and granddaughters Donna Muniz and Lori Pointer.

Survivors include her children, David Medrano and his wife Dominga of Sherman, Sofia Saldana of Fresno, CA, Steve Medrano of Detroit, MI, and Eva Sosa of Sherman; 27 grandchildren, 54 great grandchildren, 36 great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM on Friday, March 31, in Waldo Funeral Home chapel with Jim Adlof in charge, with visitation following until 8 PM.
