Warren Kelton Hart, 92yrs, passed away Wednesday May 10, 2017 in Sherman. Visitation will be held Friday 6-8pm May 12, 2017 at Waldo Funeral Home in Sherman. Graveside services will be held Saturday 10am May 13, 2017 at Cedar Cemetery 700 Campground Rd Sherman, Texas 75090. Chaplin Mike Hermanson will officiate.
Warren was born April 27, 1925 in Corsicana, Texas to the late Amos Hart and Myrtle (Mathew) Hart. He was married Colleen Carr on October 4, 1952 in Durant, Oklahoma.

Warren enlisted in the US Navy at the age of 18 and worked as a gunner. He went on to work for 18years for IBM as a mechanical engineer, where he developed several patents later finished his career with Oscar Myer.
He was very talented at wood working, and was a member of the Texoma Wood Crafters. Warren enjoyed working cattle, and taking care of his property, and riding his motorcycle into his 80's. His family will miss his devotion to them, a keen eye for photography and his love of dogs.

Warren is survived by his wife of 64.5 years, Colleen Hart of Sherman; daughter, Elaine Hart of Austin; son, Ken Hart of Sherman; son, Byron Dean Hart and wife Linnea of Plano, Texas; grandchild, Zachary Kulhman and wife Sarah of Dallas, Zane Kulhman of Austin, Sydney Claire Hart of Plano; great grandchildren, Charlotte and George Kulhman; cousin, Dorothy Rae Holley of Dallas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Amos Franklin Hart.
