Charles "Bud" Newman

Private family funeral services for Charles Elmer "Bud" Newman will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery. Mr. Newman, 90, passed away Sunday, January 17 at Texoma Medical Center.

Bud was born May 13, 1930 in Hugo, Oklahoma to the late Othel and Cecelia (Graf) Newman. He worked as a barber for 62 years in Sherman and was an avid motorcycle rider.

Mr. Newman is survived by two sons, David Newman and wife Sherry of Rockwall and Steve Newman of Sherman; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and one sister, Jean LaFollett of Frisco. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Wathina (Johnson) Newman.
