Conner James
Gleghorn
March 2, 2006 – July 21, 2022
With deepest sorrow, we announce that our beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew and friend, Conner James Gleghorn passed away on July 21, 2022, at the age of 16.
Those who knew Conner, even just a little, lost a shining light in their lives.
Conner enjoyed doing what most 16-year-old boys do, playing video games, hunting, fishing, football, baseball, going to the movies, hanging out with friends and archery. His sister Danielle loved playing Modern Warfare 2 with Conner, even though she always lost. His cousin remembers how Conner knew everything about video games, especially Fortnite.
Most importantly, Conner had a deep love for his family, and cherished the time they would spend together joking, having family dinners, and playing games. His sisters Danielle and Olivia remember a time when he came by with a live fish and put it on her face. His sister Olivia said she loved how he would eat all the strawberry cake with chocolate icing when she made it.
He loved holidays. Thanksgiving was a favorite because he loved his Mamma's cooking and getting together with friends and family. He always looked forward to Christmas Eve at his Grandfather's and Abuela's. Seeing all his Cousins, opening gifts, laughing and joking with the family.
Since he was an infant, one of our greatest joys was seeing him grow. He was strong and a little fighter. A true miracle. His Uncle remembers the first time he saw Conner, "He was such a sweet, quiet baby. Perfect in every way. I instantly loved him. As he grew, he had a quiet and humble strength about him. You never knew what he was thinking. He was always there for his Mom. He was her right hand for anything she needed."
Conner will always be remembered for his love, compassion, sense of humor and love for his family.
Conner will be missed every day and leaves behind his Father, David Gleghorn, his Mother, Jennifer Gilley, his Stepfather, Corbin Gilley, Sisters Danielle and Olivia Gleghorn, his grandparents, Bernard Hensley, Maria Hensley, Stephen Gleghorn and Joanna Raymond, his loving Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and many friends.
We know Conner is now with his great grandmother, Ama, his Uncle Cale and many other wonderful family members.

My Son
It broke my heart to lose you,
But you did not go alone
A part of me went with you
The day God called you home.
A million times I've thought of you
A million times I've cried,
If loving you could have saved you
You would have never died.
