Danny Lynn Shelby passed into the arms of Jesus on January 17, 2022. He was a loving Husband, Father, Brother, Son and a caring friend to many.

Danny was born on November 2nd 1956 in Sherman Texas to Marshall and Betty Shelby. He enjoyed any type of oil field work which led him to start as an Hot Oil Trucker. Danny had a passion for several things but mainly he loved Eagles, working on vehicles and welding. He also collected all types of antiques. Danny was also a big member of AA in Sherman, Tx which he had been sober himself for 21 years in January 2022 and his wife Teri received his Birthday Chip. Being a member he helped so many people whether it was just a conversation, helped sponsor them or even just a place to lay their head and help anyone to get clean and sober so that they may get back on their feet.

Danny married his beautiful wife Teri on August 2nd of 2009 and from then on, those two were inseparable. Over the years his health took a turn for the worse, but he always had a smile on his face, always was a hard worker and even would stop something just to help someone in need. Even though he may not be here with us physically, his spirit and the memories we all have will always remain.

Danny was preceded in death by his father Marshall, mother Betty, brother Johnny and sister in law Patricia Shelby.

He is survived by his wife: Teri Shelby, brothers: Marshall Ray Shelby, Wayne Shelby and wife Kay, sisters: Deborah Moore and husband Denzel, Marie Donihoo and husband George. Also by his 6 children: Caleb Shelby and wife Christy, Dalton Shelby and wife Kristine, Jeremy Shelby, Jamie Day and husband Kevin, Johnny Shelby and wife Misty, Jolena Parker and partner Starla, daughter in law Belinda Jones Shelby. Along with several nieces and nephews, 19 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Memorial Service to celebrate Danny's life will be on Sunday February 27, 2022  at Making Dreams Real. Services will be held from 2pm to 4pm.
