Frank Wayne Trotter passed away unexpectedly on August 28, 2022, at his home in Pottsboro, TX.

He was born, at home, to the late Paul E. and Mary Virginia Long Trotter on February 22, 1950, in Sherman, TX.  In 1965 the family moved to Howe where he continued his education and learned to love living in the country. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing pool.

He worked for Kaiser Aluminum in Sherman until retirement. He spent time with his parents helping care for his Dad before his passing in 2011.  He then moved to his lake home where he resided until his death.

Wayne is survived by two daughters, Tara Barnett (Kevin) of Smithfield, VA, Stacie Passabet (Michael) of Stratford, CT, and four grandchildren Kelsea, Teagan, Domonic and Devyn. Siblings Debby Copeland (Jerry) of Deadwood, TX, Jackie Nyala Williams (Bruce) of La Vernia, TX and Paul David Trotter of Pottsboro, TX.

He was preceded in death by his parents, the mother of his children Wendy Tumlinson Antonelli, his wife Shirley Miller Trotter and two siblings Paula Elayne Wornhor of Whitewright, TX and Robert Lee Trotter of Howe, TX.
