Gail Eugene Lockhart - Sherman, Texas

Gail Eugene Lockhart age 79, of Sherman, TX passed away on August 28, 2021 in Sherman with his family by his side.

He was born on January 29, 1942 in Stillwater, OK. Gail attended and graduated school in Quay, OK. He married Dovie Evelyn Graves on February 19, 2000 in Visalia California. Gail loved helping the Children's Hospital and St. Judes Hospital, loved playing games with his friends, collecting coins and anything with M&M's on it. He was very involved in Chickasaw Reunion Association for Retired Navy Veterans.

He is survived by his wife, Dovie Lockhart, daughter, Tammy Harrison of Omak, Washington, son, Ronald Lockhart of Visalia, California, and son, Jerry Crumley of Sherman, Texas, grandchildren, Lavada Harrison and Kenny Harrison JR., great grandson, Bradley Harrison, brothers, Billy Bob Lockhart and wife Valerie of Burlington, Kansas and Allen Lockhart and wife Pamela of Pawnee, Oklahoma. Gail is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Gail was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Rosalee Bartlett (Lockhart) Reeves, brother, Frankie Lockhart, niece, Kathy Lockhart and nephew, Michael Lockhart.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at the Waldo Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Cedarlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Johnny Reeves, Monte Frantz, William Scarborough, Patrick Graves, Allen Price, William Lockhart, Douglas Price, Kevin Price and Keith Price. Honorary Pallbearers will be Raleigh Graves, Johnny Graves, Claude Graves and Joe Graves.

The family will receive friends on Friday, September 3 ^rd from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Waldo Funeral Home.
