Jonna Leigh Brooks, age 68, of Sherman, Texas passed away on August 17, 2022 at the Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas.

She was born on December 16, 1953 the daughter of John and Ann (Cook) Wilson. Jonna graduated from Sherman HIGH School in 1972. She married David Brooks and he preceded her in death in 2006. Jonna worked at Jack in the Box, Mr. Burger and then Walmart. She loved playing games on her cell phone.

Jonna is survived by her four sisters, Cathye Ballou and husband Willies, Linda Battenfield and husband Glenn, Pattie Wilson and Pam Wilson, four nephews, two great nephews, three great nieces and numerous cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and son, Daniel Cunningham.

Memorial services will be held at the Friendship United Methodist Church on September 1, 2022 at 11:00AM.
