Sherman – Funeral services for Louise Anderson Benedict will be held at 10 AM Tuesday, February 20 ^th at Trinity Baptist Church.  Burial will follow at Cedarlawn Memorial Park with Rev. James Crawford of Cornerstone Baptist Church and Rev. Jason Anderson of Trinity Baptist Church officiating.  Pallbearers will be Chris Austin, Tommy Thurmond, Billy Gann, Tyler Clinton, Josh Anderson, Chad Anderson, Austin Linn, Austyn Anderson, Jay Atkins and William Benedict.  Mrs. Benedict passed away Thursday, Feb. 15 ^th at Wilson N. Jones hospital in Sherman.

Louise was born April 17, 1927 in Jermyn, Texas to the late Claude and Jodie Wells. She was married to first Jack Anderson and then later, David (Red) Benedict.  She worked many years and then retired from Texas Instruments.  Louise enjoyed gardening, crosswords and travel.  Her home was always open to anyone and her heart was widespread.  She dearly loved her grandchildren and was a faithful member of Cornerstone Baptist Church.

Mrs. Benedict was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Margaret Ainsworth and Sherry Furche; Brother, Jerry Wells; spouses, Jack Anderson and "Red" Benedict; son, Larry Anderson and granddaughter, Stacy Gann.

Louise was the matriarch of the family and to many more. She is survived by daughters, Carol Thurmond of Pottsboro, Brenda Anderson of Sherman, Janis Gann of Denison; sons, Charles Anderson of Pottsboro, David Anderson of Pottsboro, Mike Anderson of Amarillo; sister, Betty Pennell of Konawa, OK; 19 grandkids, 35 great grandkids and 11 great great grandkids.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00PM Monday at Waldo Funeral Home.
