Mary Mitchell obit

Mary Mitchell, age 81, of Sherman, passed from this life Sunday, May 8.

She was Born in Castroville Tx on September 23, 1940, to Pablo Nuncio and Leonore Costilla. She was  the sister of 5 brothers, Patricio Nuncio, Felix Nuncio, Marcelo Nuncio, Willie Nuncio, and Pewee Nuncio, and had 4 sisters, Luz Nuncio, Dolores Cantu and Lupe Gonzales, all of whom have received her in  heaven, leaving behind Maria Villareal .She was a Proud mother of 5 children, Phillis Mitchell, Connie Mitchell (husband Catalino Garcia), Chela Fraga (husband Hector Fraga), Javier Mitchell and Marcie Gomez (husband Ramon Gomez). She was Grandmother to 11 grandchildren, Jackie Rigsbay(wife Cody Rigsbay), William Rigsbay(wife Pauline Rigsbay), Tita Arias (husband Roman Arias), Lila Muñiz(husband Dylan Muñiz), Raul Gonzales (wife Lindsey Gonzales),Adriana Gomez, Rodrigo Gomez, Ramon Gomez jr, Phillis Garcia, Darius Daniels,  and Janelle Mitchell. She was Great grandmother to Michaela Grey, Dakota Rigsbay, Dylan RIgsbay, Maci Rigsbay and Naomi Gonzales, and  Great Great Grandmother to Connor Wright, Braleing Rigsbay and Cooper Tominson.

She was an amazing woman to all she loved everyone in a special way. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. Her hobbies were crocheting, smoking, gambling and being on her phone. She loved to dance to her "Pitbull" music. She also enjoyed shopping from catalogs and talking about her younger days, while smoking cigarette and drinking her coffee on the porch. She had the best stories. She has made great memories with us and she will truly be missed.

A rosary for Mary will be held 6 pm, Wednesday and family will receive friends from 6:30 until 8 pm at Waldo Funeral Home.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 am Thursday at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Sherman.

Pallbearers are Dylan Muniz, Roman Arias, William Rigsbay, Willie Nuncio, Ramon Gomez and Raul Gonzales.
