Micahlea (Micah) Dagenais age 36, of Sherman, TX passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at Wilson N Jones Hospital, Sherman, TX. She was born August 13, 1982, in Sherman TX to Michael R. and Sandra E. Dagenais. She graduated from Durant OK High School in 2000 and Grayson County Junior College as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in 2008. She worked full time at Capio Partners in Sherman, TX.
God showed his grace and mercy to Micahlea by saving her in the hospital answering the prayers of her friends and family over many years. Praise God for this blessing.
She enjoyed spending time with her children, Jayden and Alexis, whom she loved very much, going camping and spending time at Lake Texoma, getting her nails done, cooking, country western music, and a Dallas Cowboys fan. She had a love for the people of her work and this love was shown back during her illness and after her passing.
She was preceded in death by her mother of Durant, OK, and grandparents William Adell and Clara Elizabeth Hamilton, of Bonham, TX.
Survived by her daughters, Jayden Dagenais of Bells, TX, and Alexis Castle, of Sherman, TX; her father, Michael Dagenais and stepmother Thelma Dagenais, of Broken Bow, OK; her grandparents, Ray and Peggy Dagenais of Sherman, TX; sister, Marcie and her husband Troy Laroche of Denison, TX; her step sister, Mari Ann and husband Mark Lewis of Carrollton, TX; her step brother, Matt and wife Caroline Moser of Everett, WA; aunt, Diana and husband Dale Crutcher of Bonham, TX; aunts, Sheryl and Genevieve Dagenais of Bells, TX; cousins, Steven and his wife Trisa Crutcher of Saginaw, TX, Brian and his wife April Crutcher of Irving, TX, and Maegan and her husband James Glover of Avery, TX; niece, Madison Hammel of Denison, TX; special friend, Delton Kemp of Sherman, TX; and longtime acquaintance, John Castle of Sherman, TX.
A Celebration of Life will be held, Saturday, March 23 rd at Waldo Funeral Home in Sherman, TX at 3:00 PM, with a family visitation after the service.
Arrangements are under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home in Sherman, Texas.
