Michael Andrew
Moore
June 30, 1979 – November 7, 2021
Michael Andrew Moore, age 42, of Sherman, TX, passed on to be with his savior on Sunday, November 7, 2021. Michael was born June 30, 1979, in Dallas, TX, to Virgil and Donna Moore.
Preceded in death by Grandparents Estel and Juanita Chamberlain and Clarence and Nora Moore, brother Kelly Moore and Uncle Dennis and Aunt Nancy Chamberlain.
Survived by: Siblings Paula Moore, Phyllis (Jeff) Bedgood, Stephen (Kristy) Moore, Marcus (Allison) Moore, Max (Amber) Moore, Angela (Ben) SurVance, Uncle Vernon and Aunt Betty Moore; as well as several adorable nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
He graduated from Tom Bean High School. He was a drum major in the High School Band, a member of the National Honor Band, Spirit of America Band Tour of Europe, Eagle Scout, and member of Order of The Arrow. He obtained a Bachelor's in Theology from Bible Missionary Institute, a Bachelor's in Christian Counseling from Hobe Sound Bible College, an Associate of Nursing from Grayson College, and was a PHI THETA KAPPA Officer.
He enjoyed many aspects of life, including working with his dad in the hay field, helping his mom in the garden, being a helping hand to a sister, mowing a neighbor's yard, and much, much more. He was a member of several Jeep clubs, taking many trips to New Mexico, Arizona, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Colorado, and Texas, logging in approximately 10,000 miles of Jeep trails. He drove his Jeep in local town parades, and always looked forward to taking family and friends on his rides. When Michael heard of someone in need of any kind he was there and ready to go to work. It did not matter the challenge; he was ready and willing to serve and help. At an early age he was involved in the medical field. Starting as a pharmacy tech just added to his desires to become a medical professional. He obtained the title of RN and had no plans of stopping there.
Michael had a clear testimony that his sins were forgiven never to be held against him. Although his scars were many his God healed them all. Michael dedicated all aspects of his life to God. His nursing license, jeep trips, and his selfless service to others, sometimes so that they could see another day.
(I Thessalonians 4:13-14)
But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
He leaves a large hole in all our lives and will be missed tremendously. We will meet him in the morning just inside the Eastern Gate!
A memorial service to celebrate Michael's life will be held at Sherman Bible Methodist Church, 11141 US HWY 56 East Sherman, TX. November 20, 2021, at 11 am.
