Therese LeJeune

Sherman- Mass of Christian Burial for Therese F. LeJeune will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, October 5 at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Burial will follow at West Hill Cemetery. Mrs. LeJeune, 93, passed away Saturday, September 29 at her home in Sherman after a lengthy illness.

Therese was born June 23, 1925 in Ville Platte, Louisiana to the late Diselin and Beula (Lafleur) Fontenot. Therese married Joseph LeJeune on October 22, 1953 in Ville Platte. She was a devoted wife, mother, and an excellent homemaker. She loved cooking, sewing and was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ville Platte.

Mrs. LeJeune is survived by two daughters, Patricia Grotheer and Rebecca LeJeune, both of Sherman; three grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph, parents, two brothers, one sister, and an infant son, Joseph Faron LeJeune.
